The Society of Animal Artists opened its 52nd Annual Exhibition of Art at the Animal at the Hiram Blauvelt Museum in 2012, featuring "Panda Pair." Art and the Animal Kingdom is the flagship exhibition of the Society of Animal Artists. The name refers to both the annual exhibition of the Society of Animal Artists, and the traveling exhibition and tour that it generates. The annual exhibition has been displayed at prestigious venues east to west and north to south for the pasty fifty years.
