The cheetah is vivacious…the world’s fastest animal, but it is the tender, intimate moments of this cat that capture my curiosity as an artist. I saw this cheetah in Namibia, and wondered what it was that had interrupted its nap in the cool sands of the dry river. These meerkats have seen it too, but they have more of an interest in keeping an eye on the cheetah, in case it decides that it wants to include meerkat on its menu.
